The studio is a production partnership, not a menu of services. Whether the idea is at demo stage or the recording is finished but not sitting right, we start with the same question: what is this song trying to say, and which sound carries it?
Arrangement, recording, mix and mastering are not treated as disconnected stages. Most mix decisions are really arrangement decisions; the master is the final form of those decisions. So one creative responsibility runs through the whole process.
