- Mayyitan is a fictional band formed by four friends from America, playing the Desert Blues genre. Inspired by the Tuareg traditions of North Africa, the band echoes the vastness of the desert with their guitar-driven hypnotic music. Combining their own cultural roots with psychedelic touches, they create a vast and spiritual musical journey. Mayyitan builds a unique sound world that combines American creativity with the mystery of the desert. Their first album, "Amanar", released in 2002, is out now. Have a nice trip in the desert!
