- Durkan Teoman is an important "fictional" artist representing the modern and mystical face of Turkish music. He has created a style that is both traditional and innovative by blending Sufi music with electronic elements. The works he creates, especially using traditional Ottoman instruments such as ney, oud, and daf, combine the depth of Hijaz and Bayati makams with modern electronic textures. Teoman invites the listener to an inner journey by creating a spiritual and meditative atmosphere in his music.
With his album "The World of The Dervish" he takes his listeners on a journey into the depths of Sufism.
