Liner notes

A groundbreaking fusion of traditional Anatolian folk music and electronic soundscapes, recorded during a period of radical experimentation in Dadalar's career. Utilizing vintage synthesizers, drum machines, and heavily processed electric bağlama, this album marks one of the earliest attempts at merging Turkish folk traditions with cyberpunk aesthetics.

Recorded in a makeshift studio in Istanbul using a Roland TR-808, Sequential Circuits Prophet-5, and modified electric saz, the album creates a unique sonic landscape where ancient Anatolian melodies meet 1980s electronic textures. All tracks are instrumental, allowing the conversation between traditional and electronic elements to take center stage.

This now-rare album showcases Dadalar's visionary approach to folk music, predating similar electronic-folk fusion experiments by several years. The record's raw, lo-fi production and bold electronic arrangements capture the dystopian energy of early 1980s underground music while maintaining deep connections to traditional Turkish folk forms.
