Zaruret / Standards

Production standards

A working approach that keeps credits, contributions and technology visible.

01

Credits

We keep the names behind every release and production visible.

02

Rights

Use, licensing and delivery terms are defined around the needs of each project.

03

Technology

When AI-assisted tools are used, that use is stated clearly in project credits.

04

Fiction

Part of the archive is fictional: projects built with their own eras, line-ups and stories. Those records are labelled plainly on the site and never presented as a real band.

Zaruret Records Archive

The fictional archive

Zaruret Records works on two layers. The first is the official catalogue in distribution: releases by Nikbinler, Anatolian Lab and the other artists. The second is the archive — albums by ensembles that never existed, spanning the 1960s to the 2000s. Each has its own era, line-up and recording story: the music was genuinely made, the narrative was built around it.

We do not hide this. Every fictional artist page carries a visible label and links back to the YouTube release it came from. The aim is not a forgery but an archive — thinking through a period’s sound, sleeve language and story together.
